Which are your favourite lyrics? Not being a native English speaker myself I can't really judge, so I ask of all those whose mother tongue is English that how do you experience Dieter's lyrics or spelling?

I like all the spoken lyrics in which Dieter plays these roles of slightly sad geezers, like Random Tox, Lou Norman or the guy in Desire:

"Morning heat

And collects a quarter from the floor

I just can't help chuckling every time I hear this bit.

BTW, is this supposed to be barman or barmaid, there seems to be different interpretations about this?

I prefer more of the romantic side of Yello. Like Capri Calling, I.. I'm in love, Lost Again, Do It, and Call it Love.

I'm with Julz, plus i really enjoy "Of Course I'm Lying", another great example of how Dieter can create mini-movies using his words.

How about "Pocket Universe', especially 'Beyond Mirrors'. Dieter is at his best there
