Re: An album by Boris

https://soundcloud.com/boris-blank-electrified/boris-blank-granada-kiss-1 i was wondering if the "Rote Fabrik" cassette contains the same stuff that was released in 2008 by Carlos Peron ("Tranceonic Rare Tracks 1976-79" digital album) with different track titles yes, "Grana...

Re: From Universal Music site

I saw this track on youtube and I don't like it absolutely as well as 70% of the 'Touch' LP. For me it's a pity to see the biggest pop music experimentators getting stuck with this primitive over-clicheed smooth pop jazz. The 'cocktail / smooth' genre itself is the one big clichee where everything i...

Re: The "guess that Yello sound" thread

i was shocked when discovered this: http://www.amazon.com/Double-Face-Francis-Rimbert/dp/B000CA35VE listen to the 2nd track - exactly the same trumpet from 'Hipsters Delay' (The Eye, 2003) :? i knew that sometimes Boris likes to use the library CDs but never thought about the whole riffs!!! one day ...

Re: New Yello Best of & DVD??

Yello have so many unreleased audio & video treasures in their archives like the professional footage of their first track 'Dead Cat' (1978) or the video from Mayday'95. So, 'How How' is not the limit of our desire

Re: Plactic - Addicted written and produced by Boris Blan

if you mean a dancefloor of some local redneck disco-bar, no - i never get out to such places dance heaven? i can understand if you're 15 years old & you live in a countryside away from civilization - if you're older than 20 & livin' in the city, it's a tragedy. no kidding here read the 1st ...

hahaha     1. this track never became a floorfiller because there's a big difference between the rave scene and commercial pop-dance. can you imagine Carl Cox, Darren Emerson & John Digweed spinning 2Unlimited, Sash or Scooter? electronic music and your Plastic aren't the sam...

Re: New Yello Best of & DVD??

this trend about boxsets with 5000-page booklets and DVDs really starts to dissapoint. according to the tracklisting only 3-4 !!! new tracks will be released on these 3 CDs. The DVD lacks the so much awaited 'How How' video , also no 'Celsius', 'Pan Blue' & 'Resistor' - instead we have four...
